To help your business comply with the requirements of the Fire Precautions ( Workplace) Regulations 1997, we are able to provide two types of on-site, fire awareness seminars, professionally presented, with the use of laptop and projector, and with training aimed specifically at your work environment. Fire Warden Training: Course Content: The course is designed for all types of employees in any industry. This course consists of a short training film followed by a lecture of approximately one to two hours, depending on your company needs. Up to 15 staff per session. At times to suit you. Training on your own premises - we come to you. 2 fully experienced instructors. Training relevant to your business. Individual certificates available for each member of staff if required. Fire Extinguisher Training: Course Content: The course is designed for all types of employees in any industry. This course consists of a short training film followed by a lecture of approximately one hour, which includes a practical demonstration in the use of the different types of extinguishers, with hands-on experience for your staff. Individual certificates available for each member of staff if required. Each session will include the following: Theory of the cause of fires (fire triangle - heat, fuel and oxygen). Theory of how fires are extinguished with the different types of extinguisher. Evacuation procedures. Each candidate will be instructed in the correct selection and use of all four types of extinguisher (water, foam, powder and Co2). Each candidate may fight a live fire confined in a 'training trailer' if requested. Each candidate will receive a certificate. The theory and practical use will all be carried out outside in a designated, secure area of your choice. The above includes all refills, flammable liquid and any other materials used.
